On October 22, 2023 the Race 4 Water team will complete the Blue Mountain – Spartan Super to raise money and awareness for Charity: water projects that will bring clean water to communities around the world!
Located at the Blue Mountain Resort, the race will take place at 1,407 ft. above sea level consist of ~10kms of race course including 31 obstacles and 3,115 ft. of elevation gain.
For every $40 the team raises, Charity: water will be able to provide clean water to one person for the rest of their lives!
Women and children can be required to walk up to eight hours EVERY DAY to gather the 5 gallons of water their families need for washing, cooking and drinking. These journeys over difficult and dangerous terrain often result in the collection of water that is filled with bacteria that can cause illnesses like Dysentery, Cholera and Typhoid.
Charity: water can bring clean water to these communities using BioSand Filters, Drilled Wells, and other solutions (based on the specific needs of each community). They also install monitoring systems on all of their projects, and train the community on how to service their water systems to ensure there is ALWAYS clean water flowing!
100% of all donations go directly to Charity: water projects… NO administrative costs.

Our Mission
To bring clean water to the 771 million people in communities all around the world without access to safe, drinkable water! We support established charities that prioritize transparency, effectiveness, and are creating real change in at risk communities around the world.
Our History
This is year 6 of the Race 4 Water campaign. Over the past five years, we have raised $1,687.37 for Charity: water projects that have brought clean water to communities in Mozambique, Mali, Madagascar and Burkina Faso.
The Race 4 Water team has run in three Spartan Races, completing over 60 Kilometers of race course in 2018 and 2019, travelled over 240 Kilometers on foot in September of 2020, walked 5kms every day for a week in 2021, and carried a 5 gallon water jug for 8 hours in 2022 to increase awareness for and raise money to combat the global water crisis.
