As a professional, I am a Primary Care Paramedic, but on my days off, I am always looking to explore new trails and back roads wherever I am. I love getting out into nature and am perfectly happy wandering around with my dogs in the middle of nowhere for hours on end.
Why do I participate in fundraising?
I have always wanted to help the people I come into contact with, but for the majority of my life, I felt like I didn’t have the means too do so. The greatest change in my life has been in my realization that there are an infinite number of ways to impact the world around me that require nothing more than my attention. My $1,000,000 goal is the physical manifestation of that realization. I may not know how I’ll get there yet, but every day, it reminds and pushes me to actively seek out new ways to grow the 106 ways platform and discover new ways to contribute and inspire.
How do I want to be remembered by the people around me?
Firstly, I want to be remembered as someone who never turned anyone away when they truly needed it, whether they are a friend, enemy or stranger; and secondly, I want to be remembered as someone who lit the spark of inspiration in everyone I came into contact with.

What is my favourite charity and why?
Unequivocally, my favourite charity to support is Charity: water. Accountability is REALLY important to me, and their 100% donation model along with their GPS proof of projects lets me know EXACTLY what my donations did. Not only is it key for my trust, but it creates a powerful connection for me with the projects I am helping fund. Their storytelling is something that I think is unparalleled, coming at a crisis with a hopeful outlook, convincing me to help by showing me what the world could look like at the end of this journey, inspiring my emotion and desire to change the world. To put it simply, I love EVERYTHING about Charity:water! ❤
