The Feed a Family campaign was a continuation of our original, annual End of Year fundraiser aimed at impacting people where they are most in need. Our focus through this campaign was to provide families around the world with one of the most basic human needs, proper nutrition.
In 2019, there were approximately 821 MILLION people globally that did not have enough to eat, with that number growing every day. Over the previous year alone, the number of people globally without enough food, rose by 10 Million. That is 1 in every 9 people globally, that is affected by food shortages; with a largely disproportionate number of those being in Africa, where the number becomes 1 in every 5 people! (wfp.org).
Through this campaign, every $60 raised provided enough rations and supplements to change the life of an entire family forever! All donations raised through this campaign were sent to World Vision, partnered with the World Food Programme, to multiply our donations by 5X!
