Coming Together
While Staying Apart

2020 was marked, and completely reshaped, by the global COVID-19 pandemic, forcing closures and isolation procedures worldwide. But rather than withdrawing from each other, the 106 Ways community build stronger connections, and reached out further than ever before.

Stronger Together

This year’s Race 4 Water campaign saw its highest involvement rate ever,
topping the totals from both 2018 and 2019 COMBINED!

With live races cancelled, the Race 4 Water – Miles Team took the lead on the Race 4 Water 2020 campaign. They travelled 1,785 Miles that raised $236.13 through the Charity Miles App, to go along with the $572.85 raised by live campaign donations from our community, for a total of $808.98 that was donated to Charity: water projects, giving clean water more than 15 people for the rest of their lives.

Creative, Adaptive,
& Life Changing

Because of the pandemic, the way we went about changing the world in 2020 looked very different from years past, but the adversity only inspired us to be more creative and adapt new, better ways to move forward with our fundraising. With new ideas created and old ones reinvented, 106 Ways saw a more than 30% increase in its fundraising in 2020.

Exploring New Horizons

This year saw the official introduction of Team Cargo.

Through Project C.U.R.E. and their strong global partnerships, Team Cargo’s contributions have the ability’s to be multiplied 20x to bring medical supplied to the farthest corners of the earth.

Functioning on a brand new model, Team Cargo does not rely on donations from the 106 Ways community, but rather, it creates change through its use of the cashback based team funding app FlipGive, allowing Team Cargo members to change the world while buying groceries, gas, building materials and hundreds of other household items.

Because of its incredible scale, Team Cargo sports the loftiest of the 106 Ways campaign goals, aiming to send a 40′ shipping container full of $400,000 worth of medical supplies around the world.

Once again, I feel blessed beyond measure to be apart of this vibrant and growing community and am so incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplished in 2020. I look forward to another year of growth and exploration while continuing to change the world in BIG ways.
